Oct 10th 2008, Lee Justin Allen and I (Alyssa May Castrey) were married in the Bountiful Utah temple. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we got to see many friends and family that traveled to see us.
We started the day at the temple with family around to see our sealing. After that, we took pictures with the family outside the temple.
Next was the luncheon that was prepared by new in-laws. It was absolutely wonderful and the food was delicious. While we ate, we watched the video that my dad had prepared with music and pictures of Lee and I growing up. We also had friends and family tell stories of when we were younger.

After the luncheon we had the reception, which was also beautifully done. There we were able to meet even more of family and friends who couldn't make it to the previous wedding and luncheon. Our cake was wonderful and delicious and for that I have to thank Grandma Beth.
For the bouquet toss, my good friend and roommate Néna caught it. The garter was caught by my younger cousin Gregory because he was able to jump higher than any other bachelor there.
After those fun festivities, we had our first dance as husband and wife. Followed by the daddy/daughter and mother/son dance.
There was open dancing for a bit, then Lee and I had to make our getaway as every couple must eventually.
Overall, there's nothing I would have changed. The day was absolutely wonderful and seeing so many friends and family was wonderful. I'm so happy to have found someone as wonderful as Lee. Becoming part of his amazing family is a real blessing and I couldn't have asked for better in-laws.
