Saxophone

 Lee recently pulled his saxophone back out and the kids had no idea he could play. So of course they all pulled out toy instruments to play with him. Now Ty is showing interest in learning the saxophone. Lee let him try for the first time!

I hope Ty keeps it up and learns to play!

Snowmagedon

 We had a big blizzard come through and it actually knocked out our power for a bit. Trying to shovel the snow took the whole family and a long time.

Emmett thought he could still ride a bike, but ran out of space quick.

The kids did enjoy the aftermath of having a giant snow pile to sled down.

Denver Aquarium

 We were invited to a cousin's birthday party at the aquarium. I went during the day while kids were in school so it was just me and Emmett. Just like Ty when he was little, Emmett just wanted to run through the whole thing so I had to backtrack and point things out to him. Emmett had an appropriate mask for the occasion too!

I helped Emmett pet a sting ray and he seemed to like it. Then he got upset and I figured out it was because he wanted to get in the water to swim. He kept throwing off his shoes and trying to take off his socks. He was very upset until we eventually moved away. It was cute and kind of funny.
