I'm still waiting for our baby to want to come out. I had a doctor visit today and that was nice to help motivate me. I'm already dilated to a 3, which I was a 2 last week, which means I'm still progressing! My doctor asked if I wanted him to strip my membranes, which I hadn't thought about, so he did a little bit, but not fully, so that should help me to go into labor. My doctor is going out of town this Thursday and I really want him to be the one to deliver our boy, so we decided to set an appointment to induce me for tomorrow! Sunday I had been so ready to be induced at the soonest possible time, then Monday I wasn't so sure what I wanted. So when my doctor asked about inducing today, it took a while to come to the decision. The major deal breaker was the fact that he'd be gone until Monday and I'd probably go before then anyways. Also, this Saturday there had been another baby that was 39 weeks that didn't survive and I'm already 40 weeks, so that helped persuade me as well. My doctor doesn't like going more than a week overdue anyways.
So my next update will be about our new baby! I can't wait to see what he looks like and what his personality is like! Until then, here's a picture of me while 38 weeks pregnant, since I realized I haven't put any baby bump pics up.
