Here is Fort Collins the solar eclipse was about 95%. At Lee's work they had a telescope with a filter
that you could look through as well as a setup that reflected the
eclipse onto the wall. The kids thought it was cool but lost interest
pretty fast.
As a sort of last hurrah of summer I took the kids on a big trip! We started in Utah and stayed at Nena's house. I loved watching our kids play together and it was so nice to get to hang out with Nena again!
While there we made our mandatory trip to Sushi Ya for the best sushi ever! The kids enjoyed looking at their fish and turtles.
We also got to attend my cousin Greg's wedding! It was beautiful and I'm happy to welcome Sophie to the family!
When Terra noticed this statue she said "I found Jesus!"
Terra loved dancing at the reception.
After the wedding my mom joined us in the car and we drove down to Arizona. We spent a week there and swam twice a day. It was great practice for the kids and Ty is now very close to swimming without assistance.
Ty was so excited every time he saw a cactus so we made sure to get his picture with some.
When our week in Arizona was done my dad hopped in the car to drive us home. We stopped in New Mexico for the night and went to the zoo there.
Lee, Alyssa, Ty, Terra, Lilly, and Emmett are a small family in Johnstown. Lee now has a full time job and is loving it! Alyssa is a stay at home mom working on raising the kids and keeping her sanity. The kids enjoy playing together and making messes.
