Saturday Lee's Mom told us of a carnival going on just down the street from our house at the park. It was a small one oriented towards kids and Ty had a blast! It also cost half the price of the other carnival that we went to the week before.
The 1st Carnival:
There was a play area for kids, and since we had shown up so early there was no one there, so Ty had the place to himself. He really loved playing in the pool of balls.

We also let him see all the many different animals that were there for 4H. Ty really liked a llama at the petting zoo that kept making whining noises at him. He also enjoyed petting some fluffy bunnies.

Getting a drink from Grandma afterwards.

Unfortunately, we found out that night that Ty was allergic to bunnies. You can see his eye was red and irritated. We gave him a bath and some Tylenol and he was better before too long.
The 2nd Carnival:

Ty did a great job making baskets. He just needs to work on releasing the ball.

This was a treasure hunt game where you did through the paper to find an egg. Ty was mostly interested in emptying the bucket of the paper.

Ty met his first clown. She was very nice and made Ty a blue dinosaur.

There was a play area set out with musical instruments for kids to learn about and Ty enjoyed playing with those while I was waiting in the long line for balloon animals.

They also had groups from the city there to teach about safety. There were police and firemen. Ty even got his own fireman hat and got to sit in the firetruck. He wasn't too keen on keeping on his hat though.

Ty was most interested in trying to push buttons. He also got really happy looking at the hoses in back for some reason.

After the firetruck was went to play a few more games before heading home. Ty enjoyed the games with a little pool to play in.

He also got to meet Slapshot! It's some team mascot, but we're not big sports people... my guess is that he's from hockey. Ty liked him though.

Ty seemed to really enjoy being outside and able to play around. I hope we can find out about more things like this.
