Action Hero Night

Chick-fil-A had a special Action Hero Night tonight. We decided last minute to go so I pulled out some old costumes and dressed up. Lee and Ty stayed home so it became a girls night out! Terra dressed up in Ty's old Toon Link costume and ended up winning "Most Creative"! I dressed up as Hinata from Naruto and only one person recognized me. We even ran into 2 families from church while there.

 

 

 

 

 There were real life heroes there too. There were police and firemen and Terra got to sit in the driver's seat of the firetruck.

 

 There was even a visit from Spiderman!

 

 

 

Terra was very excited to see the cow. This little girl LOVES animals!

 

 One other reason for attending was to help promote the upcoming Fort Collins Comic Con. I found at least 1 person who didn't know about it and was super excited to hear about it. I'm loving all the super hero stuff going on this summer!

Eveline's Blessing

Pictures for Eveline's blessing didn't go too well. It was overcast when I put in the settings on my camera, but when we were ready and took the pictures the sun came out, so everyone in the pictures is a ghost. Even after some editing, I can't get the features on people's faces to appear. Here are the results.

 

 After the blessing, Papa played Lincoln Logs with the grand-kids.

 

 

Mighty Kicks

Ty had his last day of soccer today. Well, last day until August since I signed him up for another session. I'm glad we're doing this because I've seen Ty grow so much in the short time he had soccer. He's been having so much fun and it's been good for him to interact with other kids and learn to follow instructions.

 

 

 Terra has even started to want to kick balls around.

 

 

 

 

 Look at those teeth! You can see 5 of her 6 teeth here.

 For the last class they finally had a real game. It was 2 on 2 and Ty scored a goal! No one was keeping track of points though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 So fun! Ty gives it a thumbs up!
