Halloween

 Halloween during a pandemic was different. Most people were ok with things being normal, others were really concerned. We celebrated by having a family party at my sister's house.

Our ward still did a trunk or treat, but it was just going car to car outside, nothing inside. Everyone handing out candy had to wear gloves. We also set out candy for local trick-or-treaters.

During the whole month of October I kept moving this skeleton around our yard and it was so much fun! Our neighbor even commented that we had a very mobile skeleton.I think my favorite was the first spot where Skelly was raking the leaves.

12 years together!

 Sometimes it feels like the years fly by. It's hard to believe it's been 12 years since I married my best friend. He still finds ways to surprise me. This time it was roses. A few days before our anniversary he came home with roses. He said he wanted to get me a dozen roses for a dozen years. I seriously teared up. It was such a thoughtful and sweet sentiment. He doesn't normally buy roses because they tend to be the most expensive so that only made it mean more to me!

On the actually day of our anniversary we got a babysitter, went out to eat, then walked around 2nd & Charles because we love that store. I even picked up a big stack of Redwall books there! I love Lee so much and love each day I have with him. I really couldn't imagine my life without him!

Ty's 10th birthday!

 Ty's ideal birthday is getting a new video game and being able to play all day, so I think he enjoyed today!
