2 Months

I thought time flew by with Ty, but now that I have 2 kids it seems even faster. Terra's already 2 months old! We had a doctor's appointment today and she is looking great! She's 12 lbs 6.5 oz and 75th percentile. For height she's 23.75 inches which is 97th percentile. Ty never went above 75th percentile, so Terra's looking like she's going to be a tall one. After measurements and the usual check up it was time for shots. She absolutely hated them. It took me a while to calm her down, but once I did she took a nap, then woke up happy and smiling later.
I still can't believe she's growing up so fast. She's already smiling, lifting her head, and sometimes she has a tiny giggle. I haven't found her ticklish spot yet though. She's a pro at breastfeeding, and will take a bottle but won't be happy about it. I'm thinking she might be slightly allergic to the formula we currently have. She's also a great sleeper. I've been getting 4-5 hours of sleep at night for a while now. If only she'd sleep that long in her own bed.
Terra is also a very social little girl. She does well when others hold her during church while I play the piano. She also loves to flash a smile at anyone who is talking to her. She especially loves to watch Ty even when he's not talking directly to her.
Ty has been a wonderful big brother. His love is sometimes too rough, but it's still cute. If we're in the car and Terra starts to fuss, Ty will reach over and rock her carseat to make her happy. He also loves to give her kisses when she's upset. Today after a changed her diaper, he leaned over to kiss the owies on her legs.

Jurassic Quest

Normally I ignore the Facebook "suggested posts" but this one caught my eye. It's like a traveling little museum of animatronic dinosaurs and it was for this weekend only so we were spontaneous and headed up to Cheyenne Wyoming.
Ty's favorite part was the bounce houses outside.
Terra chilled with me while he jumped. Unfortunately she got a little sunburned because I thought everything would be inside and we didn't bring sunscreen.

After the bounce houses Ty got to ride a dinosaur! They had 4 different types to choose from and we went with the triceratops because it had a shorter line.

Ty went back to the bounce house for a while, but then it started to rain so we went to do the stuff inside for a while.

Ty even got to dig up some dinosaur bones.

We weren't sure if Ty had enjoyed himself, but when we asked him in the car he said he had a lot of fun. He even got 2 small dinosaur toys to take home from answering some questions about dinosaurs.
