Jon and Melissa's Graduation

The end of April I drove out to Utah to see my brother Jon and his wife Melissa both graduate with Masters in Accounting. Somehow I manage to not get a picture of the graduates, but here are some random pictures from the trip.

Cardboard Slide and a Mess

General Conference (a broadcasted meeting for our church) was this weekend. I guess Ty's still a little young to sit still through the whole thing so he decided to entertain himself with some of the things he found in the room.

 

While the cardboard slide was fun, what he did later was not so much. After giving him a bath he wanted to play in the bathroom a little longer and we walked out for a little bit to come back and find this mess.

 It's hard to see but the whole bottom of the tub is covered with Q-tips.

We were very frustrated that he had just wasted an entire new box of Q-tips so we took a few seconds to try to think straight, then Ty learned that he has to clean up his messes. I sat with him while he picked up all the Q-tips and put them in the trash. I was actually very surprised how willing he was to clean up his mess.
