I got Terra dressed up all cute today and then we ended up doing a few outfit changes and multiple photo-shoots. She's just too cute!

Going Home

I thought I'd enjoy staying in the hospital and being taken care of, but by Thursday morning I was more than ready to be home. The nurses finished all the last checks and paperwork and let us be on our way.

Terra's First Bath

I wasn't sure how I felt about waiting 24 hours before her first bath, but I've decided I like it. They wipe her down enough to start that I didn't feel like she was gross and dirty those first 24 hours, except I didn't like that I could really tell what her hair was like. I did really enjoy that I was recovered enough to actually get up and watch her get her first bath. I feel like I missed out on those things with Ty because it was all done while I was still stuck lying in bed in pain.

As expected, Terra was not a big fan of her first bath. She much prefers to stay swaddled and cuddled.

 

 

 

 Terra was upset for most of her bath, but once the nurse started on her hair, she calmed right down.

 

 

 

 

 

 Just like any other girl, Terra loved having her hair played with.

 After they finished her hair she was back to being done and didn't want to be moved.

 

 

 All clean, swaddled, and new clean hat too!

 

 

Big Brother

Ty if officially a big brother now! Since Terra was born so late at night we didn't have Ty and Grammy come meet her until the next day. He enjoyed looking at her, but when we asked if he wanted to hold her he just said "No thank you." He did bring her a cute stuffed lamb and a balloon and she gave him a special big brother present that he was very excited about.
