Happy International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

As celebration, me and me hubby went to Pirate Island, where ye get free drinks if ye talk like a pirate!

Pirate Island is a new restaurant that just opened up about a week ago or so. The best way that I can think of to describe it is a combination of Brick Oven and Chuck E Cheese, but with a pirate theme. The decorations were amazing and they have an area for kids to play in shaped like a ship. All the workers are dressed up as pirates as well, and stay in character the whole time, which is fun. The food there isn't bad and isn't too expensive either.

Also, funny story about my eye patch. The day before, the frame of my glasses randomly broke while I was drawing in my art class. Because of this, my lense fell out, and that's why my pirate patch is around my glasses.

Maura's Married!!!

What a special day to get married. For Lee and I, the day started early so that we could drive the 2 and a half hours up to the Logan temple. Before leaving, we did our best to make sure we had everything, then started off. Unfortunately, when we finally arrived, I suddenly realized I hadn't brought my recommend. I couldn't believe I had forgotten something SO important! Luckily, the workers in the temple were able to make a call and find out that I was ok to enter.

After a wonderful ceremony, we went outside to take the group pictures in front of the temple.
Lee and I also took an opportunity to get our picture taken in front of the temple together.
Next came the reception, which was beautiful. Once again, Grandma Beth made an absolutely beautiful cake! The F is for Foster, Maura's new last name!

They also had the bouquet and garder toss, but I didn't get pictures of those.
With all this excitement and festivities, there were many things to remember, but one of my favorite parts of getting together with family was the chance to get to know one of my other nephews better.
Rylan was such a cutie and I'm glad we became friends quickly.

School

Once again, it's the start of a new semester, so don't expect too many posts from me (not like I post that often anyways). Lee and I are both taking a full load this semester and it looks like there are some fun classes for us. Lee has almost all Chemistry, except for his one class about marriage. It's a class I previously took and I really enjoyed it. He also happens to have the same teacher. I, on the other hand, don't have all one type of class. I have Biology, Chemistry, Book of Mormon, and and Art class to fulfill GE's. I also have a sewing class to go towards my new major. I'm really excited to have sewing and art this semester. My other classes look like they'll be fun too (as much fun as they can be).

Hopefully Lee and I will have more to blog about soon, such as the two family weddings coming up. I'm so excited for Maura and Devon, as well as Will and Becky. It's so nice to see the wonderful people in your life find someone wonderful for themselves.
