This year is Terra's first Easter, as well as our first Easter in a house with our own yard! I was so excited to be able to have an outside Easter Egg hunt! We started our day being woken up by Ty who had noticed eggs down the stairs and was excitedly telling us about how the Easter Bunny had put eggs on the couches. Each kid had their own colors to collect so that I knew Terra would be able to get some without worrying about Ty taking them all. Terra got the purple and pink eggs while Ty collected the rest. Terra did a great job heading straight for the first egg she saw and loved shaking them. At one point she had a purple egg and a pink egg in her hands and wanted to pick up another egg. After thinking a while, she set down the purple egg and picked up the new egg so she could hold two pink eggs and shake them.

After a breakfast of donuts and candy, we watched a session of General Conference, then got dressed up for the outside egg hunt and family pictures. Somehow in the short time of me hiding the eggs and us going outside one of Terra's purple eggs mysteriously vanished without a trace. She still had enough eggs to find though. Ty had fun helping Terra find her eggs.
There were too many cute pictures of Terra!
I love holidays and making them special. This Easter was especially great because we got to watch General Conference and be spiritually fed. It was a great way to really remember the reason for celebrating Easter.
