Lee and I never really needed to baby proof before, but recently Ty has been getting into a whole lot more. At first we just taped cardboard to the front of our shelves to keep him out, but now he knows how to rip it off, so we finally decided to make a more permanent blockade. We went to Home Depot and bought some wood and other things and got to work. We've only done one so far, but I love how much nicer it looks. We added doors to the front and painted the whole thing black. I'm really hoping to find time to paint the rest of the front room furniture black so that it matches. I've gotten tired of all the different mismatched wood furniture.
