Costumes

Sorry I haven't been updating lately. There's an anime convention coming up in September so I've been working hard on finishing costumes for that. I've also been working on beating some games that have been sitting on the shelf for way too long. For those curious I'll post some "in progress" pictures of the costumes, if you don't care for cosplay or costumes please feel free to stop reading.

This costume I actually finished back in April, but I plan to have Ty wear to the convention and maybe for Halloween. He's Toon Link from Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.

 

His other costume I decided on last minute and threw together by chopping up clothes I bought at a thrift store.

 

This is meant to the be 11th Doctor from the BBC show Doctor Who. I do plan to make the jacket, but since his outfit is wearable already I'm not in a rush.

  

 

As for me, I'm planning on being Kuruna from the DS game Rune Factory 3.

So far I've made the dress, minus the white and darker brown. I've also made a base white cloak and the teal shoulder parts. The horn is finished other than how I'm going to attach it and the wig I bought from China. I'm excited to finally have a costume that requires glasses so I don't have to take them off for pictures. As for the boots, I have some old heels that I plan to cut up and cover in fabric. I'm very hesitant for this though since I've never made shoes like this before. Sorry, I haven't actually taken pictures of my costume yet. I want to get more done first.
Lee still hasn't really decided what he's going to be so I think he'll just have to reuse one of his old costumes.
